Twenty-firsts

In the past few months there have been several twenty first birthdays that have been celebrated. First was Ashley, then came Amanda and finally Alexis! It is so fun now that we are all of age. Oh yeah... and I crafted all these cute 21 paddles!!

For Ashley’s birthday a small group of us went to a cute little Italian restaurant downtown, then went out. We had a midnight celebration at the Tav too!

Amanda’s birthday (my big) included a dinner with a group of her friends, and two nights out on the town.

Alexis’ birthday was at yet another Italian restaurant with our closest girls followed by going out. Alexis had been sick and so we celebrated the best we could under he conditions and constraints of medications.

In addition, we celebrated the birthdays of Jorgiea (went downtown) and Blake (Park City…we fit 20+ in a limo…) as well. These past few months was full of celebrations after celebrations!!

From my celebrating my friends’ special days and remembering mine, I have realized that your true friendships show during your birthday. It is amazing to see how many great friends we all have. I am so lucky to have the friends and sisters that I have here in Utah! They make the best support team ever, and of course the most fun too.

Lots of love,
Hails

Senior Week

Every year, we do sort of the same routine of Initiation week for the seniors. We have a progressive dinner, ritual and senior wills. It was such an emotional week and it was so sad to see our seniors go. They were some of the greatest role models we have in Kappa. The upcoming seniors (including myself) sure do have big shoes to fill. I am going to miss seeing Lorin and Jorgiea and spending time with them during Kappa events. They are truly some of my closest friends here in Utah and are amazing women! Of course, we brought out the big camera and took some photos at our last meeting. What beautiful sisters I have.

Finally a roommate picture with ALL of us. Too bad there is a shadow on Alexis' face...
My amazing big and little.

And I know what you're thinking...no...we did not plan to have matching outfits!

Lots of love,

Sapphire Ball

Rewinding a few months here.....

It’s been awhile and I am so dearly sorry. I have been so caught up in life that I had nearly forgotten about my blog. So here in the next week or so you are about to be caught up to date on my life.

The first event I have so sadly skipped writing about was Kappa Kappa Gamma’s Sapphire Ball. I got my dress for a steal of a deal during spring break in Arizona, and then splurged on the shoes to match! I was/am in love with my shoes!!

A small group of us met up and went out to dinner then hurried and caught the busses to the venue. Here are a few photos of our fabulous formal. And for once, I got photos with all of my friends. Not successfully all in one photo, but definitely photos with all my close sistas. Shout out to Chadney our wonderful photographer!

PS. Oh and what a lovely time it was to have RJ sneak along.. tehehe

 The roomies.
My wonderful Sigma Chi date, Collin.

 Brother and I.
 My big and I!
Some of the Kappas with Sigma Chi dates!
 Group of my favorite people.
Missing two roommates. We can never be a 100% functional family.
Jorgiea and I.

The only thing I can say about formal is, well we had a dang good time.

Lots of love,
Hails
