Lets just say my 21st birthday as a blast. We started out at midnight at a bar named Dick and Dixies! There I had a few drinks, but had the company of four of my closest friends in Utah.
On the actual day of my birth I unfortunately had to go to class. Lorin took me out for lunch and dessert too. At lunch we randomly were filmed for an episode of the television show What Would You Do on ABC. I’ll be sure to post the air-date so everyone can watch us giggle away on camera.
For dinner we went to my favorite restaurant in Utah, Red Iguana! It was delicious like always. There, my wonderful friends purchased me my first ever tequila shots. Lets just say they weren’t my favorite.
Following dinner we went to a bar named the Tavernacle. There we had lots of fun chatting, drinking and singing karaoke!
One of the funniest things of the night was the 21 paddle that Lorin and Jorgiea made for me! For each person who buys a drink, they get to sign the back. It became quite the hit!
I am so thankful to all the friends who helped me celebrate. I realized how many amazing friends and family I have that truly love and support me. I was showered with gifts and the presence of my favorite people. What more could I ask for?! Here’s to being 21.
